Drew Juhasz, Jr.

Andrew A. Juhasz, Jr. Drew 55, of West Hartford, died peacefully in his sleep Monday morning. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Duff Juhasz and one daughter, Allie, a student a King Philip Middle School. He is also survived by his parents, Andrew and Beverly Juhasz, of Green Valley, AZ; his sister, Jan Canning of Sandown, NH; a sister-in-law, Sheila Hohmann of N. Bennington, VT; brothers-in-law, S.K. Duff and Chuck Miley, of Maplewood, NJ; and a niece and nephew, Beth Whitmore and her sons, Joshua, Dylan, and Cody of Plaistow, NH; and David Whitmore and his wife, Nicole, of Beverly, MA. He was very close to his California cousins Pam, Debbie, Mike, Brittni, Sandi, and Jenna. He also leaves behind close personal friends, Douris and Devon Channer and Elaine and Bruce Bank all of West Hartford. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor?s degree in Economics and received his Master of Science degree from Sloan School of Business at MIT. During his career, he was a highly regarded financial manager in the transportation industry serving as Senior Director of Finance for American Airline, and later working for American President Lines APL in California. He was a driven water walker at Cornerstone Aquatics in West Hartford, having walked over 400 miles during the past year; and he was an avid reader of all types of material but particularly mysteries. Music was also important to him and some days it rang throughout the house. During the years he lived in California, he enjoyed playing bells in the church bell choir. He loved his family and pets, Happy and Magic, very much. He was extremely proud of his daughter, Allie, always; and at times a curmudgeon and affectingly called ?grumpy bottoms? he will be missed by all. Duff, 4th and Garden Streets 3rd Floor, Hoboken, NJ 07030 or Cornerstone Aquatics, 55 Buena Vista, West Hartford, CT 06117.
