Marjorie Jones Williams, age 98, was called home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2019 at approximately 4:15 p.m. She was born June 2, 1920 in Hartford. She went to Hall High School and graduated from Cambridge Secretarial School in Hartford, Connecticut. She worked as a dress sales consultant for 25 years at Sears in Coral Gables before retiring in 1981. She collected and sold antiques and had a booth in Naples Antique Mall for many years. She was intelligent, kind, loving, and devoted to her family. Marjorie is survived by her three daughters, Barbara “Zee” Shields, Marjorie “Margie” Davenport, and Joyce (Terry) Crilley; seven grandchildren, Audrey (Jan) Viljoen, Charles "Charlie" (Toni) Shields, Craig Shields, Richard Davenport, William "Billy" (Christy) Davenport, Matthew (Dorota) Hang, and Melissa (Brian) Murrell; and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Sibley Jones; her siblings, Phillip, George, Elizabeth “Libb”, Frank, and Lillian “Anne”; her infant daughter, Nancy; and son-in-law, Guy Shields. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, March 17, 2019 with visitation 10 a.m. service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Molloy Funeral Home 906 Farmington Ave. West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
